The data obtained through this questionnaire will be completely deleted 9 months after the last contact (registration). Unless otherwise stipulated by legal retention periods or the retention of the data serves legal prosecution purposes. In this case, please refer to the information sheet on the obligation to provide information pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR displayed in the reception area of the WWG business office or available on the WWG website (www.wwg-wetzlar.de).

We are aware that by completing this questionnaire or registering as a person seeking housing, no entitlement to housing assistance can be derived.

I / We have been informed that before concluding a rental agreement, the landlord may request appropriate proof of personal data (ID), income and payment history regarding the previous rental agreement, i.e. bank account statements / information or current income statements for the last three months.

The information and data contained in this application form can be used as the basis and components of the rental agreement that is yet to be concluded. I am aware that:

Incorrect information can lead to the termination of the rental agreement if it becomes known.
After the delivery and acceptance of an apartment offer submitted by WWG, credit reports (Schufa) regarding me may be requested before the conclusion of the contract.

In the last 5 years, I/We have not been convicted of a court judgment or arbitration regarding rent arrears or domestic disputes, nor has such a procedure currently been initiated against me/us. At the request of Wetzlar Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH, I/We will request information from a credit reporting agency or my current landlord.

I/We assure that my/our information corresponds to the facts and that no one else will be admitted to the apartment except the aforementioned persons.

I/We are aware of the meaning of the above statement. Any incorrect or incomplete information will prevent me/us from considering my/our self-declaration. This entitles the Wetzlarer Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH to contest or terminate the tenancy agreement in a timely manner or without notice.

I/We confirm receipt of the information regarding the self-declaration/application form for rental applicants in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR.

Consent declaration according to § 6 GDPR
I/We agree that for the processing of my/our request for the provision of a rental apartment, personal data as well as any existing disabilities will be collected and stored by me/us and, if applicable, by my/our relatives. If a rental agreement is not concluded, these data will be deleted at my/our request at any time and otherwise after 9 months have passed since I/we did not renew/extend the apartment application.

In the event that we are unable to offer you an apartment within a period of 9 months, we kindly ask you to extend your application before the expiration of this period. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you have found an apartment. Your application will then be deactivated.

To fulfill the accountability obligations arising from Article 5(2) of the GDPR regarding the provision of the information received and to demonstrate the legitimate interest in a credit reporting agency, the Wetzlarer Wohnungsgesellschaft mbh retains this document for a period of 12 months in the event that a credit check is performed. Upon contract conclusion, this document is included with the contract documents and is then subject to the corresponding statutory retention obligations.

There is no legal entitlement to housing assistance.
